We intend this page be be a resource and information space for schools everywhere,
but most importantly we want to create a space where
Ngaanyatjarra children can see
the things they are doing in the arts, all the different projects, events and journeys
they are making right now.
These are all things that reflect ways the young Warburton arts community lives and
what we do here in the Western Central desert.
Gabrielle Richards, Micah Meredith, James Meredith and John Richards, all from Wanarn Campus, Ngaanyatjarra Schools school children, at the opening of Tu Di Shen Ti - Our Land, Our Body at the Today Art Museum in Beijing, June 2011. They were part of the school project that produced 6127 photographs for the Ngaanyatjarra art tour that was seen by over 260,000 Chinese people.
In 2012 they all worked in Warburton's Tjulyuru Exhibition Space on the China show for the Ngaanyatjarra communities, putting up their work. And, after hours in Wanarn, they all worked with Alex Robbins and Helen Stojan on a video project that will be shown in the second tour planned to tour Western China over 2013 - 2014.
