Recent Work At Warburton

Quite a bit on right now, especially with deadlines looming for Chinese cultural permits (rigorous this time because we are heading to eight separate provinces), shipping manifests and Carnet notes, and so on. On the timeline this has meant bringing two important parts of the tour to completion. These are the four multiple panel art glass installations and the 3 screen video "Land and Body", featuring a lot of the same children that took the 6127 photographs over 18 months leading up to the last tour as part of the 2011 China installations. One of the really nice parts of this for me is Kiva's smile, attached.

The video will be on the website soon and it has been very creative and great fun working with cinematographer Naina Sen producing this most recently, and kudos also to Alex Robbins, Helen Stojan and the fantastic children at Wanarn Community when all the footage was taken late last year. Naina really became part of the team and we look forward to having her working with us again soon.

Photos last two sheets of glass bar the final one; worked with Carl to get it in this morning - & a shot of us all together will be posted soon - then Kiva's smile next to the computer he just made, and finally one of the charts for the 3 screen video installation to help us think.
